Ripoff huge crooks!

Silver Leaf Resorts is no resort at all. It's a nightmare that never ends! My husband and purchased a time share in 2000. When we purchased the timeshare we used the auto debit draft method to pay our monthly payments. Silver Leaf took a copy of our check and wrote the words VOID. This was used with our permission. After visiting the resorts and totaly disaapointed we wanted out, but things seemed hopeless.

In search of better service, we changed banks. Silver Leaf was suppose to get a new check from us and follow the exact same proceedure as before with our permission, well they failed to do so and as a result they broke the law!

The next time my husband made a check by phone, Silver Leaf Resorts retained the information from the new bank and began drafting payments from our new account. When I demanded to see proof that we gave them permission to contunie using this method of payment, they were unable to provide proof. After giving us the run around for three months and me making threats to sue; they gladly released us from our contract. It was wonderful to beat them at their own GAME! It realy helps to maintain accurate records because it realy helps to prove you are right.
