Expedia online purchase with guest account unsupported and unsatisfied - Show tickets to Les Miserable in London

I am a US resident and planned a vacation to London. I bought tickets to Les Miserables through Expedia for a performance in London while I would be there on vacation. I did not create an online account with Expedia since I don't normally like to get spam email later on from businesses. I was unable to print the confirmations at the time of purchase, but did receive an email with my order number and details. The confirmation email that I received was very clear that I would need to print the vouchers from Expedia in order to redeem my tickets. When I tried to retrieve my vouchers online using my itinerary number, the Expedia website repeatedly redirected my request back to the login page. The day before I left for my trip, I tried unsuccessfully to print the vouchers. When I found that I could not, I got worried so the next day I tried to call them to see what they could do to help me while I was still in the US. I was on the phone either on hold or with different representatives for over 3 hours while at the airport. I really wanted to resolve the issue before I left the US so that I was not in a foreign country trying to troubleshoot the issue. The Expedia representatives that I spoke to were completely unhelpful and unable to do anything for me. Once I got to London, I spent more time and over $150 in phone calls trying to rectify the situation. So in addition to the $250 that I originally spent on my purchase, I spent another $150 plus several hours of frustration and disappointment. Eventually I found out who the ticket company in London was that Expedia had purchased the tickets through, I cabbed across town to their office, and was able to get my tickets. It was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever had. One of the main reasons that I was comfortable purchasing tickets through them for an event in a foreign country is because they seem to be a reputable American company. They definitely have a bug in their system and were completely unable to correct the issue. Extremely unsatisfied and disappointed with Expedia. They should not sell services/goods that their website cannot support all of the way through the purchase and redemption of those goods.
