14 prior will not cancel w/o charging the full 3 day stay fee

Created reservation today for 3 evenings which is 2 weeks from today (july 3-6 2012). Created the mistake of providing them with my credit card on the web.instantly they charged my card the entire amount along with a cleaning price - which was not clearly stated before i gave them my creditcard. Called our barclaycard and they said the quantity of 330.00 was imminent. Named whispers resort they said easily terminated i'd be charged the full quantity of 330.00. The initial amount was 239.85 plus they have added 12-percent duty (that will be appropriate) after which a 95.00 cleaning price! It was all made through booking.com - we're world travelers and also have never heard about this kind of service or therapy - i subsequently discover they're from england. Please help if someone knows how to avoid this charge from occurring. Booking.com we discover has terrible evaluations!!!
