Axel wimmer 'stay away from this rental home'

Our Dream Villa Vaction started out a complete nightmere. We started our vacation on the week of april 14. We touch base with owner Axle Wimmer that spoke German & American back in January and agreed to rent his home at 1009 se 17th street cape coral fl for $1204.70 WHICH INCLUDES CLEANING AND HOUSE DEPOSIT OF $350.00. Which is refundable on his contract states within 7 buisness days. I emailed mr wimmer on may 17 and he responed and stated he fogot and he would mail it out on 5/18. WELL THAT'S LIKE A DREAM PLAN! The first day we got a recorded phone call that stated a REGISTER SEX OFFENDER lives within a quarter of a mile of the house we just rented. The good thing weare traveling with six adults no kids. The house is okay, and clean, neighborhood fair. "Owner! Is a Liar" we are still waiting for our deposit to be return to us it's been over two months Mr Wimmer stillsays it's in the mail. I could of flew to Germany and back 30 times he offers to send another ck but we never received a check. We called and spoke to him twice and he is in the Fort meyers area trying to open Heidi's Island Bistro on 2943 Estero Blvd in Fort Meyers. I feel we sign a contract that between us and he took our money and did not stand up to the contract agreedment. We been renting homes in cape coral for the past three years and never encountered anything like this before. Mr Wimmer. Paints a bad picture for other ownners. We are also contacting Att General office to tried to get our money back and maybe others out there. THANK YOU Frank Furino
