Missing my connection flight to Detroit, MI on 0512/12

I boarded my flight from Gillete, WY to Denver, CO on time only to be delayed for 45 minutes or more on the tarmack due the plane being to heavy with fuel. The pilot stated that we had burn off fuel and should be delayed 10 minutes. So for 45 minutes we sat there with the engines running burniing the fuel that all of us aboard the plane paid for. This caused me to miss my flight to Detroit, MI, When I arrived in Denver, CO and spoke with your representative, I was told that there was no other direct flight to Detroit, MI that day. I was them informed that I would have to fly to Minneapols, MN and then to Detroit, MI. My original flight was to have me back in Detroit, MI at 2;48 ON 05/12. Well I finally arrived in Detroit, MI at 10:15 PM. This has left me feeling like your customer service agent did not care! I flew to Minneapolis, MN (Coach) because she stated tha she was squeezing me on the flight only see 90% of the economy seats empty. That has left me feeliing very unsatisfied with your airline, I await to hear from you as to what type of compensation you will offer for my inconveince! FYI, had I drove home form Gillete, WY to Detroit, MI it would have only been another 6 hours!!!
