Martin Wunder Eiffel - Tower Apartment
Refundable deposits NOT. Paris Vacation rental ripoff

This is a warning to all people looking at renting an apartment in Paris. Do not use Martin Wunder apartments. We paid all the money that was asked then got a pdf form with all instructions which had on it that we had to pay a refundable breakage deposit of 500 euros in cash. We paid the deposit to Martin as soon as we were in the apartment.

We left two weeks later but took photos of the apartment with that days newspaper in them in case of any dispute.
After a few weeks I had not received any money back and then after six weeks I complained to the web site where I had booked it only for Martin Wunder to reply that in fact I had not given him any deposit and did not have to refund me.

He did not give me a receipt for the money (he took it away) but my mother did witness me give him the money and since it said that on the instructions that we had to pay it, I don't think we would have been let into the apartment.

As for the apartment the beds were from a well known flat pack furniture store which were badly made up. The rest of the furniture was alright.
We were promised bike hire for the first week and a seine boat cruse for two in the second week which we didn't get.
