I bought two business class tickets from San Francisco to London through Alphaflightguru.com but when I came to the airport I found out that the tickets purchased for someone's mile. British Airways cancelled my tickets and I was forced to buy new tickets for astronomical price. At the counter I was told that this is illegal to use someone else's miles to purchase tickets. They said that they were investigating the incident and will report to me. I don't think that people who are selling those miles to public are reporting this as an income to IRS, it means that money-laundering is also happening there.
I'll keep community updated about these scammers.
