Awful negotiating - Hotel Booking

I booked my hotel stay through Orbitz. Supposedly card was declined so the hotel gave me the rate for my stay. It was $100 lower than the "negotiated price." When I told Orbitz that this was unacceptable then I had to make the agent admit that their negotiating skills are awful. Last time I book with them.
