Super 8 Chicago O'Hare Airport - Hotel

We booked 4 nights at this Super 8 and cancelled after the first night. The room was dirty, hair dryer did not work, bad smell. Guaranteed shuttle pick up and drop off to & from O'Hare every half hour. We called them shortly after 10pm for a pick up and they never showed up. We watched every other hotel shuttle come and go numerous times. We called multiple times & got multiple excuses. After waiting for well over an hour we got a cab ($35)! Upon arriving at the Super 8 I asked what was going on and could not believe the excuses. He told us the shuttle would be there in 10 minutes and he totally denied saying that. He said he would call us when the shuttle arrived. He did not. Then my phone rang while talking to him and it was him, well over an hour later and we were standing right there. Then he said it is rush hour between 10 & 11pm in Chicago! I said I wanted them to pay for the cab & they said that was my fault! I asked to speak to the manager. Not available. Was told he would be in around 10:30 on Saturday. He ended up taking the weekend off and would not speak to us. We cancelled through Travelocity and spent the next 3 nights at the Raddison. MUCH BETTER! Manager always on duty, great customer service, great room, & the shuttle was always on time. We were only refunded $169 from Super 8. I will never stay at another Super 8 again if this is the way they treat customers. Super 8 is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The Super 8 Chicago O'Hare Airport is run by crooks and flat out liers. STAY AWAY OR PAY! I would however like to thank Travelocity for getting us out of that hole so we could enjoy the rest of our vacation
