What A Fiasco

My wife and I booked a hotel room through the local website of Budget Host Inn Chadds Ford, West Chester Pa for $69. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a woman wearing "room cleaning" gloves, and I showed her my printed paperwork for the room, and she said I wasn't in the system, but she still had rooms available. So I said we would take one and she took my information and then requested a credit card so she could charge me $85 for the same room. I was already charged on my card for the online booking once, but she INSISTED that I wouldn't be charged twice and that the website was wrong and this happened before etc etc etc... I asked her for a number to the national Budget Host, and with those same dirty bed changing gloves she scribbled a number down, and then told me I wouldn't get ahold of them anyways (I guess cause it was Saturday) but I called anyways and it was some "group" answering system, and I left a message on it yet I still haven't received a call back. I then left the office without booking, and called the reservations number, where I was greeted by a man in broken english who kept trying to transfer me to the hotel that we were sitting in front of, after I repeatedly asked for customer service. Finally after calling a second time he transferred me to yet another reservations agent who gave me a number to customer service. When I called that number, "Ashley" was very helpful and after being on hold for ten or so minutes she told my that my price was the right price, and that the local Budget Host would have to double charged if I gave them my card AND charge more than the correct rate anyways. I was so furious that i didn't stay, because who knows what "dirty glove girl" would have done to our room and/or vehicle after we proved her wrong, and she got the call from corporate. "Ashley" was very helpful, but as for the rest of our experience, we were less than satisfied and will not recommend or book through Budget Host Inn again for our travel needs.
