U-Box Negative Experience - UBOX Storage

I had a negative experience with the U-Haul U-Box. Although the actual box worked great and fit all my stuff, I had a variety of serious issues.

1.) The day she picked it up, the rep called me a half dozen times because she didn't know where to send the box, although I had filled out an online order with all pertinent info.

2.) After nearly two weeks of waiting, I had to call a Uhaul representative. I had to be transferred so many times I didn't even get to talk to anyone for a half hour.

3.) Once I finally was able to speak with a representative, he once again made me repeat all my contact info, even though it should appear when he types in my order number. I had to repeat it over and over again because he clearly was not paying attention. He criticized the city I had moved to. When I asked when my box was to arrive, he said "oh yeah. It already arrived." No one had called me to inform me. When I told him I had not received a phone call, he said "no, you did. She wrote down the info. She's very good." I said I had not. He said: "I'm sure she called you. She's very good." I can provide evidence on my cell phone that she did not call me. This representative continued to argue with me until the end of the phone call.

4.) When I asked him when they could deliver my box, I had to wait three more days because "she's busy." Given the exorbitant amount of money I paid for this service, I expect to receive kinder and quicker service.

5.) My box arrived with my lock damaged so badly that the combination no longer worked. This lock has always worked great and was in excellent condition the day I shipped my stuff. I took a photograph of the damaged lock for evidence.

In addition to all other expenses, I had to pay for a locksmith to come over and break my lock.
