Bought 150cc scooter have put 250 miles on it, stalls every other time i ride it

Bought a 150 cc scooter model # MC-D75 150. Ran great for the first 180 miles, now it stalls out every other time I ride it. I have cleaned carburator, stalled again. I replaced the carburator, stalls still. I called the dealer in california and he told me to change the spark plug. This scooter has only 235 miles on it. About 10 of the miles were put on by me walking it home.

I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and what I should do to get this fixed
