Hotel did not exist

We arranged flight and resort reservations on Bookit.com to get a June college in Orlando in March. The trip went well. We were acquired in the airport and created our method to the resort to check on in before linking with additional family unit members, utilizing the GPS for path. After operating around in groups for atleast around 30 minutes but still not able to observe something that suggested we'd "reached the location, " Bookit.com was named. After many efforts for connecting with customer support failed since we were disconnected or even the calls fallen, we were informed that the SunResort remain that we arranged had filed bankruptcy and shut, "recently, " and that they delivered a contact informing people of this. Obviously, when they had delivered a contact (that they didn't) why could they not contact us to ensure that we're able to alter our concerns before coming 1000 kilometers at home with nowhere to remain? We remained about the telephone with Jordan for a lot more than two hours looking to get more hotels for that cost we caught to pay for. He was not able to assist people also it got another time to obtain a supervisor (approximately we were informed) about the telephone. The "supervisor" was just like poor whilst the CSR, incapable or reluctant to fold the "guidelines" to assist us using this terrible scenario to be kilometers at home, in a gasoline consuming vehicle, operating around or resting privately of the street (scared to fall the bond) on mobile phones (one had previously dropped electric batteries with no vehicle adapter), nowhere to-go also it was getting dark. After 5 hours of disappointment, settlement, and bargain, we were provided a two bedroom collection (we arranged a three-bedroom) and was informed we'd need to spend one more $135. They didn't worry about the trouble and incredibly hazardous situation we were in, and had we not remained about the telephone, declining to ignore it, who understands exactly what the result might have been. We-don't understand when the resort was certainly out-of company or if Bookit.com was conning us. I want we'd investigated the corporation prior to making travel ideas. Being abroad with nowhere togo, in different environments was really scary.
