Was never told about the 2.02 charged every day on balance owed of timeshare

Yes another complaint about Oak Plantation Resort. We booked a week stay and was phoned at 9am to invite us to a free breakfast. Well then the timeshare sharks came out. We had no intention to purchase and keep telling them we could not afford it.

What was a 90 min talk turned into a 4 hour talk. They kept coming back with different pricing and perks. Then the last offer was one week every other year for $5,000. @ 100.00 per month. Well that sounded ok so we went for it. We were never told about being charged $2.02 per day on unpaid balances. We have never missed a payment and after 3 years still owe 4500.00 Reason they say only 39.00 was going to the principal.

Well why did you not inform us? We were also told only one name can appear on the deed. Tried many times to contact our sales rep but no luck then we were told she no longer worked there. Mantenance fee's if not paided on time will incur 160.00 fee plus a charge of 25.00 to collect. So we are no further ahead, can not sell unless you have paid in full.

Last visit you could not use the laundry because housekeeping was useing all day everyday for sheets and towles. They also took the key starter so you could not use it. Place was run down unit had stains on bedding and couch. Used a getaway which was supposed to be a five star and got over 40 bed bug bites in 3 hours. I would like to know if anyone else had had any other the above mentioned problems.
