Rented A Mansion from 212 Suites, Got a Slum!

WE paid over $6000 for a holiday rental from 212Suites on Lexington Ave.in NYC. Listing called apartment a "mansion". What we got was a third story walk up with no lift to get up there. Apartment was above a nail salon with all the smells that brings. Apartment was dirty. Couch in living room was ripped. No light fixture in the nit had all bulbs required. Washer and dryer were broken.internet did not work. TV had 4 channels. Beds were digusting and unconfortable. No interior doors closed or locked.

We tried contacting 212suites many times while we were in the apartment to try to get some items fixed. They were worthless. Did not care and did nothing. Never answered the phone with a name so never knew who we were talking to. Extremely unprofessional. After we left, the got back to us and said that renting an apartment is cheaper than staying in a hotel and that we should expect problems. What? Nice marketing touch: we are cheaper than a hotel so we can give you crap. Not!!!
