Cancelled me the last minute

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had renting an apartment! I booked an apartment three months ago and was cancelled 3 days before my arrival! I have been forced to stay in a hotel for almost 2 weeks and lose several thousand dollars in the process. The company was totally unprofessional and could never explain to me why my reservation was being cancelled.

I believed they rented the apartment for more money and cancelled me in in order to make more money. So I decided to go to the property I was supposed to rent and sure enough the current tenant told me they had booked the apartment a few days earlier for almost a thousand more then me. Moral of the story here is do not trust a word out of this scrupulous apartment peddlers. I am furious
