VPM is defintely a scam

I received a call from Vacation Property Maketing (VPM) stating they are affiliated with my timeshare brokers (RCI). They said they can rent my timeshares out forover $1000 a year, which would take careof the management fees plus some. They claimed they do not make money except 10% finders fee from persons renting my timeshares but then said there is a "registration fee" from the convention centers they push the salesat (over $1000).

I balked at that, so the agent offered to accept 1/2 down with the other 1/2 due upon receipt of my 1st check. I told him I'd have to discuss with my husband because we make decisions together and he initially acted like I was whooped for asking my spouses permission (who knows what he would have said if I were a man). Finally, I got him to promise to send the info via e-mail, but it never arrived. He called the next day and I said I would sign up if they took the "registration fee" out of my first two payment checks (if they rented my timeshares out).

The agent said they'd "be better moving onto another interested owner" (I read SUCKER into this). If they really were a big company that could guarantee renting out my timeshares they'd have the money to pay the "registration fees" with the convention centers untilI made my money. Do not fall for this. They are 100% scam artists. I was tipped off by all the negative reports on-line and confirmed it byVPM'sposition when I called them on it.
