Scam?

Kristi White contacted my parents in December and told them that she had a corporate buyer interested in buying their timeshare. They agreed to sell, but were required to send $2400 in advance for closing costs. At first, Kristi persuaded my dad to give her his account number to have the money pulled directly from his bank, but I told him that was a bad idea. He closed that account, thank goodness. However, he still wanted to sell the timeshare, so he sent a cashiers check to Kristi. Now, 9 months later, they are still waiting to close this deal and the number they have for Kristi is no longer in service. I was able to track down a local number, 602-424-5727, but have gotten no answer so far. Shame on you, Kristi!
