Lawsuit brought against Kristi Walker over purchase of a dog. I won the lawsuit. Kristi refuses to pay

A judgment was rendered in my favor March against Kristi Nickerson Walker (Leigh Hi Shelties) who is a Michigan breeder. This is a long-standing debt from 2009 over the purchase of a dog that was returned to her that I finally decided to take to court.

She also stated more than once to the judge that she breeds the dogs as a business. He asked her if she was registered as a business to do so. She claimed that she was - which was also a lie.in turn, why does she tell others that this is a hobby? Is she paying taxes on income as a business? Is she registered with the state of Michigan as a vendor and collecting sales tax? Lots of things to think about here.

Kristi Walker has yet to pay one dime on the judgment and ignores all requests to do so.

She has many other lawsuits against her for other credit issues and her own house was lost to foreclosure at the time I first acquired the dog from her (which I did not learn of until I prepared my own suit against her).

She does not live in an area where she is allowed to have a breeding kennel and co-owns dogs with others and gets puppies back from these co-owners and apparently keeps a little business going under the radar from the local authorities.

Be very, very careful who you deal with these days as this has become a money making endeavor for so many who profess to be "good breeders". They are simply good "sales people" and ripoff artists.
