Five star universal
Misinformation leading to loss of money

Traveling & Tourism

I bought a vacation package June for $498, this I was told would expire on June 30. However, I can extend this only that I have to get in touch with them before the expiration date. I tried several times since January to get in touch with this company and was unable to. I sent email to the email address and have not received any answer. Today I decided to call them again and I got through. I was told that there is an additional charge of approximately $90 to extend this because it will be expired June 30. I told the manager Heather that i cannot come to the US now because my visa has expired. I asked if there was anywhere else that I could go to. They said Cranberry Resort in Collingwood, Ontario. I asked to do it for there then but was told that I still need 30 days to make a reservation. I read over the internet several persons complaining of this company defrauding them. I would like to put a stop to them. It is not fair that these companies are defrauding people of their hard earned cash. What can be done to compensate for my loss?
