Seascape in Hopetown is a dump and the owner will not refund

Seascape in Hopetown Bahamas is a dump
My wife and I saved up for several months to rent a small house in the bahamas
when we got there we were very disappointed
The house was built around 30 years ago and had not been updated since
the Power was intermintent and no generator
When the power went off the water would not work so no showeres or bathroom fadilities
The house was moldy and diry. The beds had stains on the mattresses and were gross
The appliances were the pits.
When the owner was contacted he offered a refund but then refused to honor it
Unfortunately he wanted to get paid by check in advance so there is no charge back
there are so many other nice places to stay cheaper on the island
do not stay there if you want a clean mold free place with power and ac
oh yea
no ac for three days
try sleeping like that
very dissapointed
