Booked a vacation online with this lady. She had a listing on craigslist. Seemed nice at first. Said she would only accept money through western union. We convinced her that we would pay cash at arrival and then she changed her mind again and demanded the money be sent through western union at the last minute. We agreed as we saw she looked credible with a few listings online. We drove from kalamazoo, mi staying over a few nights and visiting with family on the way. We arrived at the property at the said meeting time and she didn't show up. We called and left numerous messages, no answer. Finally, we were about to leave and she showed up demanding who we were and why we were here on her property. We told her who we were and she said she could not rent the property out to us and that she had sent an email saying so. She became violent and told us to leave. We were left with no place to stay and she never refunded our money.
