Extremely Deceptive and Manipulative Tactics Used by Caribbean Cruise Line Telemarketers! They LIED About What I Was Giving My Card Info For And Then LIED About Giving Me A Refund

I saw the Caribbean Cruise Line Commercial with Carmen Electra on TV Oct. 7th. "Free 2 Day Cruise to the Bahamas for two" except for $118 in port fees. First 1000 registrants in your area gets the free cruise. I figured that was a good deal and Carmen Electra was a famous person so it couldn't be a scam, right? Not exactly. I registered and caibbeancruiseforfree.com and they told me to immediately call the phone number to complete my registration. So I did. The man told me that although I didn't have book my travel dates for 18 months, that I should pay the fees right then. I told him i did not have the money at that time. I said I got paid next friday and I could do it then. He said that this wasn't a problem and that he could take my card info and they would put it in their "Financial Records" or something like that. And that when I had the money they could process it then. He puts me on hold for a moment and then comes back with a really different tone of voice and says "I, don't know what you were worried about, Visa approved you for the charge, you're going on a cruise". I was shocked! He charged my card and overdrafted me, or worse, was going to make my rent check bounce! I immediately demanded that he put the money back but he REFUSED stating over and over again that he had verbal recorded confirmation of me agreeing to him processing my card. Manipulation. He made it sound like he would charge my card when I had the money, not RIGHT THEN! I specifically told him I didn't have the money! We got into an argument for about 15 minutes before he put me on hold... But i heard everything he said. He and his co-workers/superiors were LAUGHING AT ME! He eventually came back on the line and said I would get my money back by midnight but I never did. Telemarketers are SHARKS.
