Rent A Wreck - Rental Vehicle

I found this company through carrentals.com.

I made reservations for my Mom to rent a vehicle from this company. As soon as she got the vehicle, she called me & said, "Why did you get me this rent a wreck?". I told her she should have asked if they could upgrade her to a better car. She said there was nothing better on the lot. The vehicle was very old. The lock on the passenger door was broken. The key would not even go into the lock. The windshield wipers did not work (in Washington of all places). The carpet inside the vehicle was soggy. The gas tank was empty & my Mom was told that if she filled the tank, she would be reimbursed. That bit of information was not passed on to other employees. $75 to fill the tank & not a penny was reimbursed. I guess this is how they afford to rent their vehicles at the low prices they have.

The funny part is that on my Mom's bank statement, it actually says 'Rent A Wreck'. I thought she had made that up. Don't rent a vehicle from this company. My Mom was so embarrased to be seen driving the vehicle & was afraid she wasn't going to make it to where she needed to go.

There is a reason 'U Save' when you rent from U Save.
