Resort Equity Marketing
Big time ripoff!

Traveling & Tourism

We paid $899 in 2008 for REM to sell our timeshare, telling us that we will definitely have an offer soon because timeshares were selling like hotcakes! We were never notified when our 180 days were nearing the end. They NEVER called to see what was going on with our timeshare, i.E. Offers, etc. I had to make all of the calls and after the initial time period was up, they conveniently "renewed" our listing, which has expired in April, as I found out last week.

I called them and said they had not fulfilled their end of the bargain and wanted the $1000 shopping spree certificate from Elite Shopping Network. Last Saturday, I received something in the mail from REM, and it was a $1000 shopping spree from "selectyourgift.com". I looked at some of the items on line and, oh my God, it is absolutely total crap! There is nothing worth any value, let alone $1000 for you to buy, and don't forget, you get to pay the S&H on each and every item, in addition to a $5 charge for EACH order!

I will report them to the BBB and the state prosecutor's office and report them as a SCAM! Even the girl that I was talking to said that personally, she understood my frustration, but there was nothing that she could do to help me. I told her to have the mnager, Andrew, call me today and suprisingly, I'm still waiting on his call. Beware!!
