Traveler Beware

My wife and I just attempted to use this site to book a hotel at Niagra Falls. No sooner had I hit the 'submit' button, we found out we had the wrong address, but the right hotel chain.
As soon as we discovered what we had done, we called the Toll Free number to get them to change the hotel to the correct one. This was going to incur a $20.00 fee, which we were not happy with, but if that was all it would cost, we could live with it. We were then told that the price for the hotel we wanted was double what we had booked at the other hotel.
According to the site, there would be a $100.00 cancellation fee. We were even willing to pay this if it would get us out of this deal which by now, was obvious was a total rip-off. However, after about 20 minutes of listening to "company policy" the bottom line is that we will be charged the original fee for the hotel we selected, and we would receive vouchers for all but $100.00 to use on another of their vacations.
While my wife was on the phone with this company, I called the hotel we wanted, and asked what the cost would be for our stay. The price was the original price we began with when we started looking, not double, as Vacations Made Easy quoted.
We only wish we had found complaint before we got involved with this company. Please, do not book a trip with Vacations Made Easy. The only easy thing that you will get is a credit card overcharge and a hassle from hearing the "company policy".
