Why use expedia when booking through ramada is cheape

Ramada Inns is offering 20% off when you stay three nights or more. I booked three nights at a Ramada with Expedia. I want that discount which is $180.00. Expedia refuses to give it to me. The hotel cant do it but tells me they can. Why would I ever use Expedia again? They are actually costing me money.in this economy you would think customer service would be a priorty. The customer sercice rep at Expedia tells me the dont do any kind refunds. Good to know!
