I just wanted to say that I recently booked a short getaway with Expedia. We were not able to get to go on this trip due to a mechanical complication with the flight, then a snowstorm cancelled our next outgoing flight. Expedia was very courteous and professional each time I called to let them know what was going on. They even called the hotel for me to say that we would not be in until the next day due to all the delays and cancellations with the flights. After much frustration, not with Expedia, but with Mother Nature, we decided to give up and just stay home. Expedia's customer service reps were VERY kind and understanding and our trip was refunded in full and we did not purchase any type of trip insurance. Now that's customer service. Way to go Expedia and we'll certainly be booking with you in the future.
