Travel Bridge Ripoff false promises slow prossessing Scottsdale

Traveling & Tourism

We did not have good luck with Travel Bridge. First of all, I called to activate our certificates, and the girl asked me for my credit card number for the deposit. It didn't say anywhere on the certificate that it was needed, but I gave it to her anyway.

We had 2 certificates, so I asked her if we could use both of them in 1 week, in 2 cities and she said that was fine. So, I tried ot activate the 2nd one, and she told me that she needed a 2nd cc #. I wanted to know why she couldn't use the original # I gave her, and she told me it was company policy. I declined to activate that certificate at that time. I then sent in my registration certificate with the deposit check. I went online and activated the 2nd certificate. It didn't even ask me for a credit card number.

2 weeks went by and we heard nothing. I called the customer service number and they couldn't find my name or certificate number anywhere - it had disappeared along with my credit card number. I received the information packet for the 2nd activation before the one for the 1st activation! Anyway, I sent in the deposit check for the second certificate at that time.

Within a month we still had no reservations, they had sent my 1st deposit check back once because they claim that the cities we listed were not eligible cities, even though they were listed on our brochure. It got down to just 4 weeks before our departure date to a well-known beach vacation spot, and we still had no reservations. We cancelled all of the plans with them.

When I called to check on them, they were still in "planning". I don't recommend them to anyone.

I will be reporting them to the company that awarded the certificates to us so that they will not hand these out to anyone else, and put thier customers through what we went through.
