My niece decided to have her wedding in Jamaica booked through Cindy at Travel Central store. A few of us made a down payment in Feb/Mar of 08. We had until April to finish paying for the trip.
In March we were told that the trip had to be moved to another resort, but Cindy had to refund everyone's money, then start over. Unfortunately, she paid the first resort for two of us with her own money, then charged our down payment to her account.
This meant that she needed to pay us out of her pocket for the refund. She said that she would be sending a check for $400, but to this day has not paid or gotten in touch with me.
It's so unfortunate that what should be a positive, happy experience for these young couples, end up being a nightmare because of the dishonesty of this one person, Cindy Ball at Travel Central Store.
If anyone sees a person representing TRAVEL CENTRAL STORE at any bridal show in NY, please, please, run the other way!
