I purchased a bus ticket to go home for fathers day. Due to road conditions the bus driver was told to return us to the locations where we were picked up. Disappointed enough about fathers day as I had not seen my daughter in three months because I have been in the VA hospital, I called to inquire about a refund.
The service rep I spoke with was very understanding, assured me a refund would be issued if I mailed in the ticket, she gave me a refund ID # and told me to put it on the envelope. She further stated it would be received in a week and might take 3 to 4 weeks to refund the amount back to my credit card.
This was a month ago, I have called their automated system at my own expense because you know they can't afford an 800 number, then you wait on line for 20-30 minutes to speak to a rep. The automated system to this day says it hasn't received my ticket and I have spoke to agents three times. Now I am told it could take 6-8 weeks, depending on if the tickets arrived and when my mail gets opened. Basically I just have to deal with it. It may not affect some of you but $109.00 is money to me.
There explaination is they have soooo much mail coming in from Canada and Mexico it just takes time. My question is wasn't the purpose of having me write the ID number on the envelope to distinguish the refund matter and I like the fact that it takes them 6-8 seconds to process a purchase, but now it's 6-8 weeks for a refund. Oh did I mention by the way, I am a valued "Road Rewards" customer that uses them regularly for home visits.
If my service is blocked by all your business from Canada and Mexico, maybe you should open up some offices and serve them, oh I forgot you can;t even afford an 800 number or is that so you just don't have to take as many calls.
As far as customer service I haven't spoke to someone who really wanted to help except for the nice lady who originally took my call, whom I truely think was sincere in her efforts.
