If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, has feathers like a duck... Chances are it's a DUCK.
I had some fast talking and excited folks get me reved up about this YTB thing. It sounded legit and like it might be a good business on the side of my already extremely busy business. I reluctantly gave $500 of my hard earned money to sign up. The very next day I was getting buyer's remorse. What had I done. I came up with that cute little catchy 'travel company name' that they want you to have for you very own website. Within a week I called them and cancelled because I knew it wasn't for me. Then I recieved the box of 'starter stuff' in the mail. Since I had already cancelled my involvement, the box sat unopened on a desk in my office for almost a year. Then I finally cleaned house and threw it away. Done, done, done.

NOT SO FAST. It has been almost 2 years since I initially gave them my $500 for nothing and cancelling a few weeks later. Today I paid off my credit card and was going to cancel it also. I was so proud of myself... Only to find a charge of $49.95 to something called YourTravelBiz. What in the heck is that?
I called the number. Turns out these swines have been charging my credit card $49.95 a month for 2 years. Refund? Did I say 'Refund'?

The people in this company that do well are not in it for the travel business. They are born salesmen. They are totally motivated by 'networking and recruiting... networking and recruiting'. That backroom or whatever it's called is how they keep track of us. Now my friend above me benefited from my ignorance. He knew that I was not involved because I emailed him about 2 years ago telling him I was not going to be a apart of it. You would think a real ligitimate company that kept track of it's representatives would see that there was no activity in my account for 2 years and might want to contact me to see if I needed help, or if there was anything wrong. Nope, just keep charging that monthly rate as long as she doesn't see it.

I'm discusted at a compny that operates like this and I'm also discusted that there are real people that suck you in and do this kind of underhanded things just to get a recruitment that will further their position on the pyramid. What a shameful way of doing business.

Should I have checked YTB out for myself before signing up? YES Should I have watched my credit card even though I cancelled? YES Is YourTravelBiz a ripoff? YES YES YES... Please, people... invest your hard earned money in a business that also cares about it's representatives. Leave the networking, recruiting, pyramid hounds to themselves. What goes around comes around.

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, has feathers like duck... Chances are its a SCAM DUCK. YTB is a true Ripoff!!!
