Lazy Days Timeshare Vacations - Scott Pariselli
High pressure sales from Lazy Days - I wouldn't give him my credit card number and he hung up on me!

Traveling & Tourism

Over the last month or so, I had several messages from a certain company touting a money back guarantee if they couldn't sell my timeshare in 12 months. I finally answered the phone when the call came in, and spoke to a guy named Scott Pariselli. He mentioned they were working with the travel channel, and provide discount vacations to travelers, and while they are there, they offer them the units for less than the resort is selling them for. He told me about their program and the $199 "promotional" fee, then he provided some general information about his company — phone numbers and website, and asked for my credit card number.

The website he provided ended up being the wrong one. I asked a number of questions, and found out he is the owner of the company. I did finally find the company, but thought it odd, that he didn't know the link to his own company. I told him I was interested, but I would complete the form when it came to me by mail, as I wasn't comfortable giving my credit card information over the phone.

He kept mentioning that there was a money back guarantee and that once I received the paperwork, I could always cancel. I mentioned I wanted to wait to discuss it with my husband, and I would call back at the number he provided. He hung up in my face. The number he gave me was 888-295-7320. The number on the website is 866-745-2495.

The number he called from was 863-229-8145... With a little more research, saw two diff addresses for this company... One is in Winter Haven, FL... The other is/was in Margate, FL. Not sure if one was a previous address or not. MOST Florida people will OFFER you their license number, which I also use to cross reference for validity. This guy didn't offer, I didn't ask. Just too many inconsistencies for my blood.

Buyer Beware!

Just be on the lookout. I think SOMETHING is not right when someone is too anxious to get your payment. Especially, when you tell them you want to do it, but you want to do it by mail. Hmmmm.
