I checked into 3 rooms at 2pm. King Suite 321,2 Queen Suites with adjoining doors, 309 and 310. Sat 06.4pm Reunion holiday party started in King Suite. 9:15 Turn down service was done. Sun 08/08 In the AM Girls in room 309 and 310 discover that all of the cash in their wallets was missing.

They ordered coffee and wanted to pay cash to room service but had none. They were alarmed and realized that the cash was stolen from all of them.

At 10am I noticed that my Dior sunglasses were missing room 321. Looked for an hour and they never turned up. Girls in room 309 and 310 complain to manager.

They strongly encourage us to have Malibu Beach Inn investigate the situation internally, there was no need to call police but they gave one of the women a non emergency number to the lost hills police. We agreed to let them investigate. They said they had cameras and security equipment to verify entry's and exits. 4:00 on Sunday

It is discovered that credit cards: Gold Am Ex has been charged at Target in Burbank and other places for $600.00.8:00 Sunday. It is discovered that Barbie Stevensons card is charged at Subway and the Shell Station.

Everyone panics to call credit card companies for fraud alerts etc. Manager Alan calls me just after 3PM. He is rude and not cooperating with my questions. He will not release and footage from Camera. He states that "if my friends feel uncomfortable staying at the Malibu Beach Inn they can stay somewhere else". 7:00 on Monday I file a police report at the Inn.

Deputy Loza #521383 File number 408 08785-1016-062 Burglury 459 PC. Alan calls me to tell me that his staff would never steal. He has known them for 10 years implying that it is one of the girls and it is my fault that it happened because we did not use the safe. I told him we were only 2 rooms down and felt confident that we were safe and not in harms way because the Malibu Beach Inn is a luxury hotel. I ask for a refund and he says no. He was rude, hostile, bullying.
