Malibu Beach Inn

My wife and I checked in to Malibu Beach Inn and our experience with this property was a nightmare from start to finish.

The parking was inadequate, the service was terrible, and the management's handling of our problems was disgraceful.

This overpriced fleabag motel is a rip off, even though by the water, a narrow dirty strip of sand.

Our toilet was not working so we called the front desk to fix it. A person came and fiddled with it for 2 hours and still could not fix it and said he would be back within an hour22878 Pacific Coast Highway to continue to fix it.

Also there were burned out light bubs in the lamps, and the hottub did not heat up to above 98.

At no point did front desk offer to move us so we called and they said they would fix toiilet without moving us so we waited.

An hour later a person showed up and tried to fix toilet but could not so we requested to check out without charge but they said no.

Then I tried to talk to manager and he said they would not agreee to a check out without charge.

Then I and my wife went in and talked to manager and he said we would not be charged for the night but then in my next charge card statement I was charged for the whole night.

When I called to dispute it, management denied they ever
promised a refund and would not provide one under
any circumstances.

Don't stay at Malibu Beach Inn it is an overpriced nightmare.

A bad experience from start to finish.
