Irresponsible Crooks and Liars ripoff

I recently flew from Houston to Elpaso I bought a hard case suit case to pack my test equipment (an oscilliscope) which already come in a protective case and I surround it with my clothes for added extra protection when I got to Elpaso I noticed the case had one latch open I checked to see if my equipment was tghere and it was when I got to the customer job site to do the repair the scope didnt come on and the tube was broke I reported it to the baggage claim dept. Who said they would call me back with a claim # they never did so I called back again and they gave me a # but said they were not responsible for the broken item and offered to give me a travel certificate for 400.00 I told them my scope was valued at 1800.00 and I would rather have it fixed.

I tried to follow up on my claim file and now they have no records of me ever flying or being there at the airport but the lady at the airport remembers me but can not find my claim # they have no even made an effort to contact me or help me. They are crooks today I spoke with John at continental damage bags resolution and he says when we travel we fly at our own risk he would not give me his last name and he told me they are not responsible for anything in the case and hung up on me.
