Charged an absurdly expensive travel agent fee for a standard-price ticket that was misrepresented as being discounted

I recently searched online for airline tickets for an international trip at AirlineConsolidator.com, whose official business name is BMD Travel Services, Inc. The airfare they posted was listed as a discounted fair, so I purchased two tickets, assuming these were consolidator discounted tickets. No mention was made of a service fee. A couple of days later I found out that the tickets I had purchased would have cost $250 less had I purchased them directly from American Airlines. My credit card was charged the correct amount directly by American Airlines, but there was a separate additional charge of $250 from BMD.
A typical travel agency fee for this transaction would be about $25. When I questioned the exorbitant fee for selling me a standard-fare ticket, manager Richard Francis rudely responded that I had agreed to pay their price, which includes whatever service fee they wish to charge, so too bad.
