Took my money, never paid hotel, I had to pay twice!

HotelLocators charged me $281.72 on January 14. We checked into our hotel and stayed from July 23-26. Upon check out the hotel said we were paid up. When we came home, the hotel charged us and additional $225.37.

We called to inquire about the charges and the hotel said a new person was working the front desk and was unaware that HotelLocators never paid them for our 3 night stay, so they charged us again.

We stayed at the Travelodge Anaheim on Disneyland Dr. 1057 W Ball Rd Anaheim Ca. 92802 714-774-7600.

Both myself and the hotel have tried for several days to reach HotelLocators.com but they do not return phone calls, emails, or faxes and no one answers the phone. The hotel will not refund our money until HotelLocators pays them first.

Unfortunately, this site is supposed to provide discount prices and the hotel charged less than HotelLocators. They are not only stealing people's money, but charging higher prices as well. They claim to provide cheaper discounts to consumers who book their hotel rooms through their website.

It is disappointing to see such a large business become corrupt after several years of doing business with them. I will never use their services again and hope this report will help others to make a better choice when arranging to stay in a hotel room.

You might be better off calling the hotel directly and comparing their prices prior to using a third party. This is how I will conduct business in the future.
