Trying to Cancel Timeshare Contract After Misleading Refinance Promises

I don't have a horror story like the ones I have read online - but I do feel that they misrepresent themselves I was told by Sam that I could get it refinanced for a lower price (I can not find anyone who will refinance a timeshare) and I could post it on their website for rent.

But when I emailed to ask how I could post it I was told they didn't have a website but I could post it myself.

I am now trying to get rid of the property due to my financial situation changing. They may keep all the money I have paid so far - I am not looking for a refund - I just don't want the property to go into default I have worked hard to improve mine credit and do not want this on my credit report. If any has any suggestions please let me know. If a westgate employee rebuts mine story please try to offer some suggestions and not just crititzem.
