Will ripp you off on convention hotel reservations

National Travel Planners called me prior to the HAI Helicopter Expo in Houston Feb. 2007 and claimed to be the official HAI travel planner. I bought two rooms at the downtown Hilton Americas at $145 a night. A week before the convention, they called me and said they filed chapter 11, could not get the rooms and the attorneys told them to call clients to offer refunds. I had to find other accommodations, but figured on the refund. They answer the phone, but no one will ever call you back. I guess our $1,380 has been stolen.
