Run far away from these people! They say that timeshares are the same as real estate. This is the biggest lie! Maybe legally and technically there is some truth but in the real world, you cannot find anyone that will put a mortgage on a timeshare. They don't care how good your credit is.
The sales people also say that you're getting an exceptional deal much lower than they would sell it for retail. They say you're getting a discount because you were referred by an owner. It turns out that people are almost giving these timeshares away online. They are not worth anything!
