Buyer Beware when using a credit card

We used a credit card at this location. I was charged a 192.57 for a room that was supposed to cost 92.57.
We were told the extra charges were for damages to the room.

We were told they needed to replace sheets that had red stains on them. My daughter told me there were red and black stains on the sheets when we got there. We were also told there was a soiled diaper smeared all over the place. I do not remember my grandson soiling a diaper while we were there. I do know we left a little pile of doritos next to the desk in the room but they were not ground into the floor.

I was also told there were little debbie snack cakes ground into the floor. I did leave a little debbie snack cake box in the trash can. If there was anything in that the maid could have knocked it over and stepped on it. We tried to pick up the towels and leave them in piles for the maid. They said they have pictures and everything is fresh. I do not think this hotel should have charged us for cleaning the room. I really thought that was the maids job.
