Ramada Plaza Resort Vacation
Ripoff business from hell they get your money & then they're done with you

We rec'd a call about a vacation in Florida a cruise. I was very skeptical but my husband thought it was on the up & up since Ramada was involved. We agreed to it (like idiots!) and several hours later I got on the Internet and found a 17 pg. Report about how this company had been ripping people off.

I immediately called my credit card company to cancel. Ramada Plaza Resort had not taken the money yet, but my credit card had authorized them for it. I have tried everything with my credit card company, but they will not stop the authorization.

The next morning my husband called Ramada Plaza Resort & told the woman that we wanted to cancel. I later called back & have tried everything to get a written confirmation of the cancellation from them. This is the 2nd business day, and I don't want this to go any further. When you call you get forwarded from 1 place to another & put on hold. They will not give you their names, addresses, fax #, or e-mail address.

I wanted a fax # so I could fax to them in writing that we were canceling. The first time I asked the gal told me they did not have a fax or a computer. Later in the conversation she told me they had a fax, but she was not going to give me the number. She said that they had to follow procedure, which was that I would receive a written confirmation in the mail of our cancelation in 7-10 days. I told her I did not want to wait that long, because after 3 days it would be considered a done deal and she knows that.

Is there anyone out there who can help me??? They have not taken the money yet from my credit card, but are still authorized, and I want to stop it before they do.

Please, if anyone else receives a phone call or anything in the mail from Ramada Plaza Resort, throw it away or hang up on them. You do not want to be involved in this scam! All they want is your money, and then they leave you hanging.
