Ramada Plaza Resort Rip Off

Last year I recieved a mail offer with voucher for $1600 toward a vaction at Ramada Plaza Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. I called the numeber and spoke with a rep.By the end of the phone call I paid $600 toward a second honeymoon for my husband and I to celabrate 10 years of marriage. The remaining fee of $600 for the vacation is due at the time I decide to schedule the trip. I haven't reserved the trip yet. Especially now since I've read the horror stories of people that have already taken the trip. I know the cancellation period has passed yet I don't believe the company should be able to keep my money. Due to the law suits that have already been file and the money that has already been refunded. I never signed anything. Is there any action I can take?
