Has bed bugs resulting in infection, 7 prescriptions and 3 Doctor Visits

My husband and myself stayed in Howard Johnson in Bakersfield June. When we woke up I said something bit my hand in the night, it must have been a stray fly. My husband said something bit him too. So I yanked off the covers and sheets and bed bugs were crawling everywhere, on the sheets and blankets and pillows and comforter. We checked out and wanted the manager who was out then. I told them to call him and have him call me.

After three more calls he did call me. Said sorry no refund. I said oh ya, wait and see. So finally after he called someone else he said he would refund the room. I said no I have Doctor bills now and prescriptions to pay for as I am so infected. I have pics if anyone wants to see them, email me. They are a nightmare. You won't believe it until you see the pics how bad it was. After a few days the bites show up and hundreds did. We had to put creme all over out body, every single spot, wash blankets and sheets and comforters every single morning, bathe with special creams, take prescriptions for infections and itch. I have scars all over my hands, legs and arms from the bites.

Finally they called and said they would pay for all the prescriptions and Doctor visits. How is that for admitting guilt? I called around and had the place inspected and they do have bed bugs and were made to call an exterminator and fumigate. The manager called me and said yes he did get an exterminator and fumigate. There are other reports of bed bugs from their establishment as well on other sites. You are advised never to go near the place.
