Dixie Ladybugs Convention ripoff cancelled Carole Treadway - Bugsy has not refunded fees paid

Carole Treadway (Bugsy aka BugsaBunch) of Memory Travel collected $199 in fees for a Red Hat Convention in Hershey, PA for October 1-4. I ordered airline tickets, paid for a condo for a week, and THEN she cancelled the convention the end of August. A terse letter from her stated the refund of fees would be out in three to four weeks, but no one has received any refunds.

I am out over $1,000 and ALL she needs to refund to me is $199. She can't even do that?

A LOT of Red Hat ladies had paid out a lot of money to attend this event. She has also collected fees for another bogus event in Savannah, Georgia which she has not refunded money for.

Please do not respond with information concerning trip insurance.in this instance, it was not an option. Our airline tickets were a two for one deal directly from the airline. Condo was not arranged through a travel agent.
