The scam is that for each car service, they submit the charge to the credit company from $1 to $10 more than the amount on the receipt. When an employee files his/her expense report based on the receipts, he/she will short a few dollars on his/her own credit card. For example, the car service on the receipt is $65.00. The employee filed reimbursement for $65.00 based on the receipt.in one month, the employee will gets the credit report which states that the charge was $70.00.
