Accessamericaaccess America Travel Insurance ripoff, constant run around, never can speak to examiner, Slow Slow Slow

I purchased a ticket for international travel from Northwest Airlines and was offered travel insurance at the time. I decided to buy the insurance as I have had medical problems in the past. A few days before the flight I had to enter the hospital for heart problems and was forced to cancel my trip. I have now been going around and around with this company for over a month trying to get them to pay off on my tickect cost. All I have recieved is the run around. After a 2 week wait from turning in the paperwork, I was told by phone that a letter had been mailed to me the previous day requestong further information. Upon asking them what was needed I faxed it the same day. Not only was the letter not mailed the day before, the post mark on the letter I finaly received was 5 days after I faxed them the information.
When I called for confirmation and to attempt to speak to my examiner I was told the information had been received, but not checked off. Another 3 to 10 day wait.
When you call to speak to the examiner he is never available. All you get is a promise that he will call you back in 24 to 48 hours.

So far no call back.

Please be very careful when buying travel insurance. Don't accept it just because the Airline or other agency is offering it as your only choice. There has to be a better more honest company out there than this one.
