Traveling & Tourism

We received a winning ticket in the mail, inviting us to go to Vacation Station and claim our prize. As a result we went and stayed for the presentation in order to receive our prize. The presentation sounded excellent to us because we travel quiet often. They sold us on their vacation plan in the amount of $4,194.00 plus $200.00 per year for the VIP Travel To Go services. Our traveling prices from that day forward were supposed to be wholesale prices, great hotels, great condos, great cruises, etc., etc... Anytime we wanted to travel throughout the year, as a result we never got wholesale prices, Expedia.com and other on line bookings were well below Vacation Station prices. We tried to book several times throught the year with Vacation Station and VIP Services, but to no avail, they never had a hotel in the city we wanted or cheaper air fares and hotel. Since we bought this plan from Vacation Station we have traveled many times but on our own research with other agencies, because they were lower in price than we were promised by Vacation Station. (Example: Las Vegas, Eastern Caribbean Cruise, Colorado Springs, North Carolina, Italy.) When we called VIP Travel To Go they never picked up the phone most of the time it was a recording, we left a message never called us back. We tried to call Vacation Station and their number is always busy. Travel To Go finally told us that they don't use Vacation Station any longer, they informed us that Vacation Station never gave them any money from the $4,194.00. If we want the contract cancelled Travel To Go said we have to get in touch with Vacation Station to get our money back. I don't think their still in the office that we went to the presentation. We are trying to get in touch with them but we can't track them down anymore.
