I booked the room through Jet Blue for 6 days, prepaid @ $220.00/night. We flew JetBlue (usually do from CA) upon arrival we had decided to only stay 4 days in NY and to fly to Buffalo NY and rent a car to visit family in Toronto.

Upon "check in" (there was no lobby and no signage - we were told to go to apartment c-3 to check in, very strange and not easy to locate if you are used to hotels). Once we located the check-in area I asked to shorten our stay from 6 to 3 nights. I was told that the hotel does not control the money and that I would need to contact expedia.com. I was not overly concerned as I have never had trouble changes reservations.in fact JetBlue modified our tickets and flew us to Buffalo and delayed our return to LA at a very reasonable charge.

The "hotel" staff gave me an 800# to expedia which told me they had no financial obligation (which they don't). Anyway after finishing our business in NY we left and continued our journey.

Upon returning to LA I contacted jetblue and once again was given 800#'s to call.

The "hotel" room in NY was infested with bugs - I still have scars, the air-conditioning did not work so we had to sleep in the front room on the pull out couch because of the open windows that were at street level.

All in all, the WooGo solution sucks - it's like living in a slum with none of the amenities.

The WooGo's try to occupy the space between the high end hotels and the skid-row hotels ($560.00/night to $20.00/night) and I think they have the right idea but the end result is crap.

I still have not received my $400'ish refund and have no one to talk to.

Jet Blue, Expedia and hotels.com should all remove this option from their sites ASAP if they want to retain any sense of credibility.
